Burn After Reading mini-review
This time it's Firefox 3 that busted my layout. Ugh. So, anyone out there got any layout suggestions, premade layouts, whatever? I'm willing to switch it up a bit if it means it will stop bloody breaking on me.

I saw Burn After Reading last night. It was entertaining, to say the least. The whole theater cracked up on several occasions, which is always nice. The acting was, of course, pulled off very well. The music was awesome. I want to get the soundtrack, I think, just for kicks. The only thing I have a problem with is the fact that I have no idea where those two hours of my life went.

The plot is not what the trailer or the summary would have you think. The CIA does play a role, but not what you would expect. No, this is mostly a bunch of normal people getting themselves into semi-compromising situations all revolving around each other in a series of crazy coincidences, messed-up relationships and bizarre circumstances that leave you going, "... That makes sense. I don't know how, but that actually makes sense." Needless to say, I don't know what happened. The first thing all four of us said after getting out of that movie was, verbatim, "What the hell did I just see?"

It really was a good movie, though. You will enjoy yourself if you go see it, unless you have no patience for dramatic irony. Basically, The Coen brothers are back in full force with this one. I plan to pick up the DVD when it comes out. Oh, and go with a group. Don't go alone, you won't enjoy it nearly as much. You'll want someone there with you so you can "WTF?!" in tandem.

Oh, and don't take the kids. If they're under sixteen, leave 'em at home. I'm not kidding. Not. Kidding.

End mini-review of sorts. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, everyone~
